We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Your prior, informed consent;
Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing a contract with you;
Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation;
Protecting a legitimate interest of ITD Egypt or another person, where permitted by law and where that interest does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms; or
Establishing, exercising or defending legal rights.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal will not affect processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Recruitment and Candidate Data
Candidate information is used solely for recruitment, workforce planning, employment-related administration and related legal or compliance purposes.
We may share relevant candidate information with ITD Egypt personnel involved in recruitment and, where the vacancy relates to an outsourcing client, with that client or prospective client. We will do so only where necessary, subject to appropriate safeguards and, where required, after informing you or obtaining your consent.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, offer or employment. We do not ask candidates to make payments as a condition of applying through our official website.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, accessibility and form functionality. Subject to the site's configuration and your choices, analytics or marketing technologies may also be used to understand website performance and engagement.
Where required, non-essential cookies will be used only after you have made a choice through the website's cookie controls. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality.
Our website is built and hosted using Wix. Wix may process limited technical and usage information on our behalf in connection with hosting, security, forms, analytics and related website functions. Other approved service providers may perform similar functions.
7. Direct Marketing
We will send direct electronic marketing only where permitted by applicable law and, where required, after obtaining your prior consent. Marketing messages will identify the sender and provide a clear method to unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe option in a message or contacting info@itdegypt.net. We may retain a limited suppression record to ensure that your preference is respected.

Governmental, regulatory, judicial or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by law;

9. International Transfers
Because ITD Egypt works with international clients and uses technology service providers, personal data may need to be accessed, stored or processed outside Egypt.
Any cross-border transfer will be carried out in accordance with applicable Egyptian law. Where required, we will obtain consent and any necessary regulatory licence or permit, assess the recipient and destination, and apply contractual, technical and organisational safeguards designed to provide an appropriate level of protection.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, regulatory, contractual, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements.
As a general approach:
Routine contact and business-enquiry data may be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing business relationship or legal purpose;
Unsuccessful candidate data may be retained for up to 12 months after the recruitment process ends, unless the candidate consents to a longer talent-pool period or a different period is legally required;
Successful candidate data will become part of the relevant employment or personnel records and will be retained under the applicable employee privacy and retention rules; and
Technical logs and cookie data are retained according to operational need, website settings and applicable law.
We may retain information for longer where necessary to comply with law, respond to an authority, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Measures may include access controls, confidentiality obligations, secure systems, backups, monitoring and service-provider safeguards.
